QUESTION: How Do You Define A LGBT, and How Do You Scientifically Prove it?

I'm confused. The scientific community is dedicated to being able to prove everything in the laboratory. If it cannot be proven, then it doesn't exist. My question is:

WHAT IS THE GENE THAT DETERMINES THE LESBIAN, GAY, BI-SEXUAL or TRANSGENDERED PERSON?

How do you clinically PROVE that a person "is" not "traditionally straight" and is only PRETENDING to be one of the alternative personas?

If two men decide they want to enjoy the privileges of a "politically correct" society that determines that any two people, regardless of gender may have all the rights of traditional marriage, how do you determine, conclusively, that they are not just using the terminology to "beat the system"? In court, how do thy prove that their "gay rights" are being violated if they can't even, scientifically prove they are altered from the normal gender?

Even in the case if a transgendered person who has surgically determine their gender, doesn't DNA stand as scientific proof that that ARE one gender or the other? Shouldn't the American people and registered voters in particular have some sort of scientific evidence to PROVE that a person who SAYS they are LGBT really are?

Recently a young boy was arrested for "impersonating" a doctor then a law enforcement officer. He was arrested and being charged with FRAUD. More notably, Frank Abignale ("Catch Me If You Can") was able to conjure up multiple personas, and very effectively, I might add. He "became" those personas because he was able to make himself INTO the epitome of that role. But that did not make it...legitimate.

There are people in mental hospitals who THINK they are Abraham Lincoln or Napoleon. Who is to judge that they aren't who THEY say they are?

Research along these lines has been done, but there is insufficient evidence to prove that there is a genetic mutation that CAUSES homo-sexuality. (2006) Gavrilets and Rice SUGGEST
that..."homosexuality can be caused by simple genetic changes in fruit flies " (see article below) ...seems highly likely." The problem lies in the fact that as of this date, the fruit fly has been unable to defend himself against this accusation. http://m.phys.org/_news84720662.html

TO DATE (8-10-12), amazingly there is no conclusive evidence to substantiate the lab tests.
