In the 2010 bid for President, Barrack Obama told the American public on national television that he "was against same sex unions". America voted, based upon what they heard this man say In August, 2012, just four months from a national Presidential election, he has come out publicly to state that he is FOR SAME SEX MARRIAGE.
As of this date, he is surrounding himself with LGBT cohorts in an astounding number. His initiative is called “The Presidential Appointments Project,” and is "an effort started in 2008 by the Lesbian & Gay Victory Institute in conjunction with some 20 other LBGT advocacy groups aimed at increasing the number of openly homosexual persons receiving presidential appointments to government posts.
