In light of the March 22, 2013 conviction of two star football players in Steubenville, OH, the proposed sex education legislation by Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., and Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif.is laughable. The whole concept of "character based education" is non-existent primarily because of the strong spiritual component that is integral to character. Society has promoted "freedom of the individual's body" ad nauseum. Now they want to produce legislation that will allow a student just enough rope to hang themselves morally and legally, as the "rape laws" in Ohio prove.
